Between 12th and 17th April at 12 noon local time we will chant or read အရပ္(၁၀)မ်က္ႏွာ ေမတၱာပို႔ or some other version of Metta Sutta. Mellom 12. og 17. april kl 12 noon lokal tid skal vi synge eller lese အ ရ ပ ္ (၁ ၀) မ ် က ္ ႏ ွ ာ ေ မ တ ၱ ာ ပ ိ ု ႔ eller annen versjon av Metta Sutta.

In this way there will be someone chanting or reading Metta Sutta during the whole period of the Burmese New Year Thingyan, because we all live in different countries. På denne måten vil det bli noen chanting eller lese Metta Sutta under hele perioden av burmesisk nyttår Thingyan, fordi vi alle bor i forskjellige land. Hopefully people living in Burma will also join us. Forhåpentligvis folk som bor i Burma vil også bli med oss. It is very important that we do this, because there must be a CHANGE in Burma before the so called elections this year. Det er svært viktig at vi gjør dette, fordi det må være en ENDRING i Burma før den såkalte valget i år. Because of the constitution drawn 2008, military power will become permanent after the "elections" in Burma. På grunn av grunnloven trukket 2008 vil militær makt bli permanent etter "valget" i Burma.
