Burmas National People's leder og leder av National League for Democracy, Aung San Suu Kyi i dag møtte de 88-Generation Students 'Leader, Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein på NLD Hovedkvarter i mer enn én time.
Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein er en av grunnleggerne lederne i National Youth Network og gjennom ham Daw Aung San Suu Kyi stilte to spørsmål til ungdommene.
De er:
(1) Hvorfor tror du at nettverket er nødvendig?
(2) HVORDAN skal vi arbeide utvikler for å oppnå våre mål?

People's leder Daw Aung San Suu Kyi og de 88-Generation Students 'Leader Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein diskuterte vekt på ungdommenes saker. De har også diskutert om dagens struktur av National Youth Network og dens fremtidige prospektet.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi forklarte hennes intensjon om hvorfor hun oppfordrer gjør nettverk og hennes håp for ungdommene å forstå essensen av nettverk.
"Daw Aung San Suu Kyi oppfordrer ungdommene til å gjøre mer for å få tillit og å bygge tillit gjennom arbeid, sier Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein.
Når det gjelder om økningen antall motiverte ungdommer aktivister delta i aktuelle nasjonens saker, mener Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein at det er på grunn av slapp av Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, men hun mener at det skyldes økning i antall publisering tidsskrifter, de bruk av mobiltelefoner og informasjonsteknologi som ikke juntaen til å lukke alle øyne og ører av ungdommene i Burma samt hjelpe opplyst at ungdommene til å bli mer oppmerksomme på aktuelle landets saker.
Når det gjelder om de unges kapasitetsbygging programmer, sier Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at opplæringen er varige på NLD og Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein informert Daw Aung San Suu Kyi som National Youth Network ønsker å samarbeide med National League for Democracy i at saken.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi sier hun er glad for å se stadig flere ungdommer å gjøre sosiale tjenester eller / og det sivile samfunn organisatoriske fungerer. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi sa at hun utsikt sine gjerninger som gjør politikk i andre former. «Enhver av de humanitære verk eller det sivile samfunn organisatoriske verk kan ikke løsrevet fra å gjøre politikken, la hun til.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi spurte Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein syn på (siste regimets) National Service Law som er obligatorisk militærtjeneste i Burma. Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein svarte at «Det er regimets forsøk på å militarize nasjonen som er upassende, og ikke nødvendig i dagens situasjon".
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi og Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein diskutert mer enn én time om ungdommers utdanning, motivasjon i politikk, sosial utvikling så vel som den nåværende politiske situasjonen i Burma.
Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein er en av de fremste lederne av 1996 Studentenes demonstrasjoner og på grunn av sin ledende rolle; juntaen fengslet ham i syv år.
Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein, Ko Min Ko Naing, Ko Ko Ko og Gyi jobbet sammen når de dannet 88-Generation Studenter i 2005. Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein ble fengslet igjen for to år etter 2007 Saffron Revolution.
Siden løslatt fra fengsel i slutten av oktober 2009, har en egen studentenes leder Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein jobbet med full vilje for å gjenopprette demokratiet, for å fremme menneskerettigheter og for å oppnå nasjonal forsoning i Burma.

Happy New Year to you all. We would like to inform you that "National Youth Network" is Founded in Burma under "The Guidance and Leadership of People's Leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi".

National Youth Network
Statement 1/2011
Youths, from civil society organizations, political parties, ethnic youths, worker youths, farmer youths have all decided to form a nationwide network, having met with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on the 28th December 2010 . And thus, National Youth Network, which represents all youths in Myanmar, was formed in accordance with the Leadership and guide line of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
National Youth Network, formed under the guidance and leadership of Democratic Leader and people leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, will work for flourishing of Democracy and Development as instructed and guided by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, National Youth Network will enthusiastically take part in the state building process by doing social, development, environmental and humanitarian works.
Any youth or any organization who accepts the guidance and leadership of people leader and democratic leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is automatically regarded as a member of National Youth Network. National Youth Network will work with the best of our ability for National Reconciliation as Daw Aung San Suu Kyi had set National reconciliation as a national mission.
National youth network was conceived on the 1st of January 2011, put into form on the 4th of January 2011 and came into life on 6th of January 2011. To celebrate the birthday of National Youth Network, youths in Yan gon division, Mandalay division, pegu division, Magway Division, Shan State, Rakhine State and Kayin Stae distributed foods to street children, books and stationary to poor students, nursed the aged and do plantation as an action of environmental awareness.
